Published from 1848 as the Herd Books of Hereford Cattle many of these prints were engraved by A M Gauchi and depict the most famous Hereford Cattle of the day. Many were exported to both the South and Norh of America to "Beef" up the Long and Short-Horn Breeds.Also earlier engravings of various breeds.
